On the evening of November 10, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. the Fort Worth-TCU Symphonic Choir, the TCU Symphony Orchestra, and TCU alums will present Beethoven's immortal Ninth Symphony. The performance will feature TCU School of Music alumni soloists with conductor Germán Gutiérrez.

Each TCU Faculty/Staff/Student may receive one complimentary ticket to the performance of “Beethoven's Ninth” on the evening of November 10, 2014.

To obtain your complimentary ticket, you may contact Bass Hall Box Office by phone or in person during the following hours:

• By Phone: Monday through Friday – 10am-6pm; Saturday – 10am-4pm; Sunday – CLOSED

For phone orders, please provide your TCU email address. Only one TCU email address per transaction for phone orders will be permitted. Should you call after hours, please leave a voicemail and a ticket agent will return your call within 24 hours.

When reserving your tickets at Bass Hall Box Office, please present your TCU ID. Only one complimentary ticket will be given per TCU ID. The Box Office is located at 525 Commerce Street in downtown Fort Worth. (Additional Bass Hall ticket charges may apply.)


Should you wish to purchase additional seats next to your complimentary ticketed seat, you may purchase them at the $10 student/child/senior rate either by phone or in person at Bass Hall Box Office.

Tickets may be mailed, emailed or held at the will call window at Bass Hall Box Office.

All patrons (including children and infants) must have a reserved seat ticket to attend this performance. No standing room or general admission seating will be permitted.

Dear Singers,
As you may know, I have been appointed as the interim Director of Choral Activities in the TCU School of Music.  I am very excited about this year and the opportunity to work with this gifted faculty and the talented students.Our first major endeavor is to present a performance of the magnificent 9th Symphony of Beethoven, and we need your help.

Please join the TCU Concert Chorale and TCU Symphony Orchestra this fall for our bi-annual “TCU at Bass Hall” event.  We will be singing the Beethoven in German, and it will be conducted by our orchestral conductor, Dr. Germán Gutiérrez.  The performance will be at Bass Hall at 7:30 PM on November 10.

If you are able to join us, here are the details:

The following dates and times are mandatory rehearsals, and required for participation:

  1. Sunday, November 2 3:00-5:00PM - University Christian Church Fellowship Hall
  2. Sunday, November 9 3:00-5:00PM - Ed Landreth Auditorium stage
  3. Sunday, November 9 8:00-9:15PM at Bass Hall – this is the DRESS REHEARSAL*

We strongly encourage you to attend the following rehearsal, but it is not mandatory:

Monday, November 10 noon-1:00PM

There are optional rehearsals during Concert Chorale in the Choir Room at TCU, Room 203 in the Walsh Performing Arts Center.  We would love to have you at any or all of these:

October 27, 28 and 30 from 4:00-5:20PM

PERFORMANCE on November 10 at Bass Hall:

Call at 6:00PM onstage for a final “touch-up” rehearsal
Performance begins at 7:30PM

Concert attire is a tux with a white shirt for the men OR a solid black suit with a white shirt and a solid black tie.  For women, black slacks and black tops with a sleeve or black floor-length dress with a sleeve, either short or long sleeves are acceptable.  Please wear black shoes for the concert.
