TCU Saxophone Ensemble

Saxophone Ensembles at TCU

imageThe TCU Saxophone Studio actively pursues chamber music in various instrumental combinations ranging from duos, trios, quartets, quintets to a complete saxophone choir.  Members gain valuable experience working on intonation, stylistic accuracy, balance and blend in small group settings.  Standard classical literature is covered as well as jazz chamber repertoire available for saxophone ensembles (SATB, AATB, SATTB, AATTB).  The TCU Saxophone Ensembles have been invited to perform at the prestigious US NAVY Band Saxophone Symposium in Washington, D.C. and at several regional NASA (North American Saxophone Alliance) Conferences, including the 2013 conference, which was held at TCU.  They have also participated in the National Fischoff and Coleman Chamber Music Competitions.  For more information, please contact Joe Eckert.
