Flute Choir, under the direction of Dr. Shauna Thompson, features members of the TCU flute studio on piccolo, C flute, alto flute, and bass flute. The flute choir offers an opportunity for members of the flute studio to develop their intonation, rhythm, sight-reading, expression, flexibility, sound production, and chamber playing. These skills provide the students with invaluable tools to strengthen their confidence as performers and music educators. The choir presents a variety of classical, contemporary and original works throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex for members of the community and regional flute society events. If you are interested in having the TCU flute choir perform at your event please contact Shauna Thompson.

TCU Saxophone Ensembles The TCU Saxophone Studio actively pursues chamber music in various instrumental combinations ranging from duos, trios, quartets, quintets to a complete saxophone choir.  Members gain valuable experience working on intonation, stylistic accuracy, balance and blend in small group settings.  Standard classical literature is covered as well as jazz chamber repertoire available for saxophone ensembles (SATB, AATB, SATTB, AATTB).  The TCU Saxophone Ensembles have been invited to perform at the prestigious US NAVY Band Saxophone Symposium in Washington, D.C. and at several regional NASA (North American Saxophone Alliance) Conferences, including the 2013 conference, which was held at TCU.  They have also participated in the National Fischoff and Coleman Chamber Music Competitions.  For more information, please contact Joe Eckert.
